Welcome to my new blog! Thanks for your interest! There is a lot I am excited to write about, but for today, I want to share a book I'm reading that is changing my life as a homemaker! Recently I was challenged regarding how I was viewing my life - more like drudgery than blessing. I literally went to bed every night dreading tomorrow. It was really not the best. But lately God is revealing more and more truth about His plan for my being a homekeeper, wife and mother, and it has been so exciting! I rarely feel that heavy sense of dread these days, and I'm so grateful!! The book I am reading is called Large Family Logistics by Kim Brenneman. It has helped me to understand so much more how to organize my daily tasks and find joy in each one. The main idea of the organizational section of the book is to designate a day for each task you have - laundry day, cleaning day, errand day, kitchen day, and office day. I love knowing what I am going to get up and do every day, and my kids love it too.
